DATE NIGHT!!

On Thursday night, Robert and I went to the Crystal Palace with Mandi and Chris, we got tickets to the Jack Ingram concert, and thanks to Meme and Papa watching Peyton, we got to have a great night out with no (monster). We enjoyed a great dinner before the concert, and Mandi and I topped the night off with a apple crisp al a mode. It was a really fun night, Robert and I are always good for a concert and it took Chris back to his college years in Texas. Jack Ingram not only puts on a great show but he was really funny. When we were leaving we went out the wrong door and we kind of ran right into Jack's tour bus and his whole band was standing right there, it was pretty cool.

Temple Weekend!!

After our sealing in front of the temple
This weekend Robert and I left on Thursday afternoon for Burbank, after a rough start, all in all it turn out to be an awesome weekend. I realized how hard Satan tries to bring us down when we are doing something as amazing as going to the temple. I got to spend the weekend with all the people I love the most. Robert and I had the most amazing experience at the temple and we were so thankful that our family and friends could come and share this with us. It is just the beginning of another chapter in our lives, and I am so blessed to have such wonderful husband to share the expereience with. Not only did he spend six and a half hours shopping with me on Friday but he is the best friend I have ever had, I couldn't have asked for more.

DEAR OLE DAD

GETTING SOME INSTRUCTIONS
ROBERT SHOOTING AN OLD BLACK POWDER

ROBERT SHOOTING THE 12 GAUGE

ME WITH THE 20 GAUGE
TODAY, MY DAD TOOK ROBERT AND I OUT TO THE DESERT AND DID A LITTLE SHOOTING. DESPITE THE RAIN THAT TRIED TO RUIN OUR DAY, WE HAD A REALLY GREAT TIME. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAD EVER SHOT A LONG GUN BEFORE, AND BELIEVE ME I HAVE THE BRUISES TO PROVE IT. BY THE END OF THE DAY I WAS GETTING TO BE A PRETTY GOOD SHOT, I THINK MY FAVORITE WAS THE 22. I SHOT A HOLE RIGHT THROUGH THE CENTER OF A CLAY PIGEON, IT WAS PRETTY COOL. (ROBERT WASN'T SO BAD HIMSELF). I ENJOYED SPENDING THE DAY WITH MY TWO FAVORITE GUYS IN THE WHOLE WORLD, I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH. THANKS FOR MAKING SUCH GREAT MEMORY WITH ME.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

VINE STREET, PASO ROBLES 2008
I HAVE BEEN REALLY BAD ABOUT UPDATING OUR BLOG, SO ONE OF MY GOALS FOR THE NEW YEAR IS TO GET BETTER AT KEEPING IT UP TO DATE. I HOPE EVERYONE HAD AS GOOD OF A HOLIDAY SEASON AS WE DID. IT WAS GREAT HANGING OUT WITH FAMILY PLAYING GUITAR HERO, EATING CHRISTMAS DINNER BY CANDLE LIGHT BECAUE THE POWER WENT OUT, AND WATCHING THE KIDS PLAY WITH ALL THEIR NEW TOYS, (REALIZING THAT THESE KIDS ARE SMARTER THAN THEIR MOTHERS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY HELPED SANTA).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!

Glass Creek 2008
Today is my wonderful father's birthday. I couldn't have asked for a better man to be a part of my life. He has always been there for me whenever I need him. I will never forget the many fun times we shared together and the little things he does for me like when he warmed up my car for me every morning before seminary, sitting in the freezing cold cheering me on at my soccer games when he had no idea what was going on, and the many times we roofed a house together but it didn't seem like work because we had so much fun. These are memories I hold so close to my heart.
We are already starting to make more memories and I can't wait for him to some day make memories like this with my children because not only is he an amazing father but he is the best grandpa a kid could ever have. Dad I love you and I am grateful to have you in my life.
